The Skilled Trades BC Appeal Board (STBCAB) handles appeals of decisions made by SkilledTradesBC.
How to start an appeal
Start an appeal by filling out a notice of appeal form and sending it to the STBCAB by email. Attach a copy of the decision you are appealing.
Time limit to appeal
STBCAB must receive your notice of appeal form within 30 days of the decision date. Do not wait to collect evidence before you start your appeal. You will submit evidence later in the process. If something serious prevented you from appealing on time, you may ask the STBCAB for more time.
What happens next?
After we receive your notice of appeal, STBCAB staff will send you a letter with an appeal number and instructions about the next steps.
We respectfully acknowledge that our office is located on the traditional lands of the lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) speaking peoples on whose ancestral and unceded territories we offer our services. We recognize that our work extends across the homelands of the Indigenous peoples of what we now call British Columbia.
